The Mediation Center of Hampton Roads provides interested individuals or organizations with a comprehensive mediator training. Courses will be held at our location in Norfolk or at your location for qualified groups. We have been providing quality mediation training for 15 years.

2009 Mediation Training Calendar
Basic Mediation Training (20 hours) $395.00

 

Family Mediation Training (20 Hours) $450.00
This course is required for Family certification.

 

Judicial Training (4 Hours) $95.00
This course is required for General and Family certification.

 

Domestic Violence Screening (8 Hours) $150.00
This course is required for Family certification.

 

Mediation Training Packages
Family Mediation Training Package$1600.00
The family mediation package includes Basic Mediation Training, Family Mediation Training, Judicial Training, Domestic Violence Screening and the Family mentorship. 
General (Civil) Mediation Training Package$870.00
The general (civil) mediation package includes Basic Mediation Training, Judicial Training and the General mentorship. 

Ethics in Mediation (2 Hours) $50.00

Advanced Circuit Court Family Training (12 Hours) $395.00

Improving Your Mediation Skills: Family Mediation (8 Hours) $100.00
Approved for 8 hours family continuing education, including 2 hours of ethics.

 

Payment and Refund Policy
Make all checks payable to the Mediation Center of Hampton Roads. A 20% (twenty percent) deposit is required at the time of registration. Payment is due in full prior to the start of the first class unless other arrangements have been made.

The Mediation Center reserves the right to cancel any classes due to insufficient registration. If for any reason you decide to cancel your registration, contact the Mediation Center, in writing, within 4 working days of the classes. Failure to notify the center within this time frame will result in your deposit being forfeited. Once class has already begun, no refunds are given; however, you may postpone your registration 4 days prior to the start of class and make-up your training sessions at a future date within the same calendar year.
